Don’t Cry For Me…….

Sorry! I just couldn’t resist using that tag line but I bet you can hear the gorgeous song in your head now. My husband will say that Argentina is still his favorite destination. He was quite taken in by the outstanding scenery and the warmth of the people here. We took our girls on another active vacation to cycle, hike and kayak through Patagonia and the Lake District. I don’t recommend this if you aren’t in reasonably good shape as there are some peaks to tackle, but we managed with some of us taking advantage of the support van a few times! I love the photo I took of the view we enjoyed on our first day out, and our hotel those first few nights remains one of my favorites in the world. You just can’t get over how beautiful it is! We finished the trip in Buenos Aires which was quite a change from where we had been. Packing for a trip where the temperature goes from below freezing to over 90 degrees is a challenge! But it was just what the doctor ordered to spend the final day relaxing by our hotel pool. Note that not all hotels in Buenos Aires have great pools, so be sure you know what you are booking. And, a fun and knowledgeable guide will really make the city come alive for you as it did for us.
