California Dreamin'

The Italian and French Rivieras are both some of my top selling destinations. I have been to both and yes, they are pretty amazing. But, I learned something new this month... there is an American Riviera! And, it is pretty amazing too. An unsung and undiscovered destination for us East Coasters, but definitely worth putting on your must list. At times I thought I could be in Provence, Amalfi, or even Stellenbosch. The juxtaposition of the mountains and the sea is just gorgeous but as you drive along the Pacific Coast Highway you see lost of divergent landscape. From the bustling and vibrant city of Los Angeles to the country western feel of small town Ojai, to the seaside resorts of Malibu and Santa Barbara, there is a lot worth discovering! And, there are some pretty incredible hotels to enjoy along the way. Summer is high season as the Pacific Ocean bids you to take a dip, but I would urge you to consider it for fall, winter, or spring. 360 days a year of sunshine means you can be outside enjoying walking, biking, horseback riding, boating, golf, tennis, and of course wine tasting. Wonderful shopping, dining and a spa too perfect for a girls getaway.
