Tea Trails, Leopards and Ancient Civilizations: A Small Country that Packs a Lot In!

Sri Lanka was not on my radar, but was highly recommended and so I accepted an invitation to go.  This destination is underrated and should be on the list for the intrepid traveler, the honeymooner, the wildlife enthusiast, or anyone looking for something different.   It was here that I discovered the enchanting Loris, learned how to grow and make tea, and gained appreciation for how the four major religions of the world – Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism and Islam - can exist in harmony with one another.  What a fascinating country where elephant cross the highways and wonderful spices grow like weeds.  It is also really easy to combine with a stop in either the Maldives or Dubai. What an adventure!
